Oh yeah. I fucked up some acorn squash once but still ate it because I bought it.
Did it with brussel sprouts once too.

@Ozymandiaz i forgot the brussel sprouts in the roaster.
And the red cabbage I cooked with too much water and i added vinegar because google said it was a good idea....it wasn't.

@Eternity I was wondering cause they are pretty straightforward to cook. The vinegar doesn't sound like a great idea to be honest.
