It’s fucking nasty
Forgetmeknot · 41-45
@Datawonk I thought that at first. Buns too sweet. Those lattice fries were weird. It's sort of grown on me. I went there because they had gingerbread latta when other places didn't.
Datawonk · 26-30, M
@Forgetmeknot I was raised on Timmy Hos and it’s just gotten progressively worse

Starcrossed · 41-45, F
Only like once when visiting Canada... I wasn't impressed in the slightest, in fact a little disappointing. Basically Perkins.
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@Starcrossed not even near as good as Perkins. It’s like a step above McDonald’s
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Yeah ther'es like fifty tim horton's per square inch in Canada. It is highly overrated but it's convenient so I'll give it that.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@CountScrofula I can't see their menu online. This makes me nervous. That said South Africa's best selling beer is Canadian.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@basilfawlty89 It's coffee baked goods and sandwiches. What beer?
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@CountScrofula Carling Black Label.
LadyJ · F
I tried the breakfast a few weeks ago..i wasn't impressed but they do nice coffee
Forgetmeknot · 41-45
@LadyJ I haven't tried the breakfast.
LadyJ · F
@Forgetmeknot I wasn't a fan but i know others who love the breakfast so dont be put off
Tammylee14 · 22-25, F
They closed all of their places around me
LeeInTheNorthWoods · 70-79, F
I've only had the donuts and coffee. I like them.
Ambroseguy80 · 56-60, M
They don’t have those here in the US. I’ve heard the coffee is really good though.
bowman81 · M
@Ambroseguy80 The company was founded by Tim Horton, a Canadian hockey player in the NFL. Look for cities that have NHL hockey teams and you will find a "Timmy's". I live in suburban Detroit and there are 6 of them within 5 miles of me.
Ambroseguy80 · 56-60, M
@bowman81 I live near an NHL town and - no Timmy’s! Must be a “closer to Canada” factor as well.
bowman81 · M
@Ambroseguy80 That too, maybe an original six thing? Tim Horton was old school. They are as ubiquitous as Mickey D's (McDonald's) around here.
I have

I at times prefer McDonald's coffee now, lol, they switched their coffee supplier to the one used to supply to Tim Hotron's haha and Tim as chosen someone else.

Breakfast is fine, it keeps you going.
bowman81 · M
Good coffee and decent donuts, but the food isn't anything to write home about.
Forgetmeknot · 41-45
@bowman81 donuts are pretty good.
chrisCA · M
I have.
It seems every Canadian town has at least one.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
We've never even been introduced.
Lumberjack70 · 56-60, M
Stick to the coffee only.
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
@Lumberjack70 or the tea and agreed
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
Timmy’s used to be good, when they had real bakers that would bake everything from scratch, now everything comes premade and frozen from somewhere in the States. They can’t get simple orders right. It’s pretty disappointing.
GeorgeTBH · 31-35, M
Wait they have fries at tims? Since when
GeorgeTBH · 31-35, M
@Jeephikelove lol they probably only make them once or twice a day and just keep them warm
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
@GeorgeTBH that’s exactly right!
GeorgeTBH · 31-35, M
@Jeephikelove damn does not sound appetizing when they do that
Quimliqer · 70-79, M
Love the Homestyle biscuit with sausage, the cravables are good and last but not least, maple dipped donut!!
ninjavu · 51-55, M
The food in Timmy's ads looks better than it really is. I made that mistake before and I learnt.
I’m not a cannibal, and the man has been dead for over 40 years!
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
My kids love it. I only eat there in a pinch
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Tim Horton's what?
caccoon · 36-40
Yeah, it's totally gross.
