Very mild and subtle flavour. Creamy, buttery texture if nicely ripe. Love it on toast with black pepper and sprinkle of lemon juice. I can't describe the flavour lol. Just buy a ripe one and try it 😁

The spices used or put on it make or break it. It has very little taste by itself. Hence a lot of flavor enhancing spices are put on it. Like salt, paprika and garlic. Texture is very smooth though.

Its a mild taste and smooth soft texture. You can use a ripe one as a butter substitute in a sandwich. Its almost bland on its own.
