@LyricalOne So far, I'm coming up with a lot of interesting articles on bottom thing, but nothing much on blueberry lavender scones ;-)

@Northwest Hey, watch it mister, this is a family thread! 😕
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
doesn't surprise me cause I remember all the little old-fashioned bakeries in town, now you got the ones that sell over-priced cupcakes with 2 inches of frosting on top.
LyricalOne · F
@cherokeepatti No, nothing impressive about them at all. Just generic stuff, totally un-special!
Fernie · F
@cherokeepatti Have you read the ingredients in supermarket baked goods?? It's like a novel!
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Fernie yes and I don't buy them any more

@Primnproper I haven't tasted a decent one in forever, Prim.

BTW, even though our local grocery stores (all of them) have built-in bakeries, the number of independent bakeries (I am not counting the ever expanding Starbucks), has quintupled in my city.
