Same for me and I would get a red itchy rash under the watch. Before Phones I carried a pocket watch and now retired I have 3 nice pocket watches that I no longer use.

Nah... it was never a problem, and I hate smartphones (spend enough time on the computer at home every day without having that stuff with me when I'm out). I can get the time from my old, dumb, flip-phone, but what I've discovered is I can work my life just fine, and on time, by only using the clock in my living room, my alarm clock, and whatever clocks I see at work or in town.

This idea we need to know the exact time constantly within 1 second of any moment is a fallacy. I refuse to play the game :).

Back in the day that would have been a problem.. But these days an accurate timepiece is on every phone.
