I have worn a gold chain most of my life. Had one stolen when I lived in Portugal, and replaced shortly after.

@sumita123: I had mine stolen in a bar one night, some men got into a fight and I tried to break it up, one of them swung a hand over my chain to break it off and the other did the same thing over my wrist to steal my diving watch. They then left and I never saw the items again.

I'm more likely to wear a silver chain than gold, just because I like silver jewelry. And I just wear the one.
