writing is ignited by writing. Write, write anything, write everything, a movie review, a recipe, a memoire, an essay, a rant, ... sit for a few moments, fingers on the keyboard, and then write. Write gibberish, seriously, write gibberish... after a few paragraphs.. .I guarantee something will come out. That works for fiction. If you prefer non-fiction, READ... read all kinds of articles, white papers, statistics... then as you read, write down question that come to mind, any questions... then answer the questions in the flow of asking the questions... eventually a premise surfaces, then read more on that premise, ask questions, write your impressions and findings... sooner or later, writing becomes second nature. Oh,... an ya gotta do this every day, no matter what comes out.

I am in the middle of writing a science fiction Novel. I started in January 9 and committed to at least 500 words a day.
I am up to 75000 words and I know you can do the same thing! 😉
