To choose the right belt to use on my son.

Truly letting them go as adults, allowing them to reap the natural consequences of their unwise actions when I saw how much it hurt them and knew I could "save them from the pain." and letting my baby be transported by ambulance when she was dying without me being allowed in the ambulance.

I am not a parent but years ago I had to put my first pet down. One of the most heartbreaking things I have done.

To divorce my ex husband. I was terrified of the damage it would do to my kid, but staying in a toxic marriage was just as bad.

Allowing your child enough independence to personally succeed or fail on their own- so hard to let/ see my kids make same mistakes or bad choices their genetic dad did. And to hold back the warning patronizing protective lectures

@Purpleintelligence: No, that was just my son kidding around. I had him fix my lap top problems. I haven't been able to post anything. He comes over. I sign into it and presto...he is able to post. That was his comment. LOL. I never really had any hard decisions as a parent. My son is and was a joy. I am blessed.
