I don't think my family would survive without me for a few days!
Southernpride · 46-50, F
I bet they would surprise you if they had to

Not mine. He is all for whatever I need that makes me happy. Same goes for him
Southernpride · 46-50, F
Right, same here

Good husbands would not stop their wife. Sometimes you've got to just get away and I'm all for it. Please give me a heads up that you're going and where and when, but other than that... go have fun.
Southernpride · 46-50, F
Exactly, of course on the heads up
MrsKatherineArch · 41-45, F
No, we have a similar agreement. Sometimes you just need "me time".
xXCarlXx · 41-45, M
I do, but she doesn't. I wouldn't dream of making her ask. Not in a million years. One; I need as much time with my kids as possible. Two; I need as much time away from her as possible

When I was married and I needed some time akone I just said where I was going and made arrangements. I didn't need permission.

I would let my wife go. In fact I encourage it.
Not me I would allow her the weekend as long as she was honest with me besides everyone needs a break especially a mom!But trust me in my marriage my wife has taken to many liberties which our marriage almost didn't survive. And still to this day causes problems at times!
My wife can go wherever she wants whenever she wants. And likewise, so can I. And we both have vacationed without the other.

It depends on your relationship. I wouldn't vanish for a few days if your spouse isn't expecting it.
Southernpride · 46-50, F
No vanishing, I said to let them know when and where
GoldenWorm · 51-55, M
My wife could. Sometimes you need a break.
SweetDreamsRubi · 31-35, F
