I made a breakfast for mum
Wasn't the best but I tried

Took her for a day out, lunch, dessert and casino

When she came home, I massaged her feet

As a gift, I bought her a dress and earrings and a chocolate
@PhoenixPhail
Thank you so much
It's jus my mom and I
My Dad is Late

These last few years have been very very challenging. But we try. That's why we try to appreciate all the small things in life

Typically, she goes overboard for my birthday
@SilentKiller That's so great. More people should have relationships like that with their parents. It warms my heart just to hear about it. Thanks for sharing.

my mother passed when zI was 9 and I still think she looks for me
Though I lost my mom when I was little, after reaching 18, I donated blood every Mother's Day. 🩸 🙏

@valobasa4ever you honor your mother by doing a good cause, very noble deed. ❤😍
@1PrivateHannah

Thank you. 🍁
My mum made a huge meal for us. My dad had been in hospital for a month until the night before. Hubs and our daughter made us breakfast and gave me a handmade card and flowers.

@0uijaFinger I hope your dad gets well soon. Nonetheless, it's a happy family celebration!
agreed...moms are in my opinion mold us into people we eventually become....it starts from the minute we are born

@RedBaron she's still in the university. She saved from the allowance that I gave her. It's the thought that counts. I appreciate any little things that they can do at the moment. 😊

@beermeplease as they say, charity begins at home. Most of the kids are the reflection of how they're brought up.

You consider crappy unhealthy food from McDonald’s a treat for Mother’s Day? Nobody cared enough or could afford to take you out for lunch or dinner at an actual restaurant?

Sorry, but what a cheap family.
1PrivateHannah · 51-55, F
@RedBaron sorry for your discontentment. I appreciate the concern. They're still studying. It's expensive to send 2 kids to universities so we remain a cheap family until they finish and earn on their own then I could demand lavish treats & gifts, I guess.

I'm not a mother. Unless that's just half a word.
@1PrivateHannah I'm not a father, either. I've never married.

@PhoenixPhail Ooops! Let's celebrate your birthday then! Cheers 🍻🎂
