How low can you set the thermostat for heat?

It will be near freezing all day today. I work 9 hours so obviously I don't want the heat blasting the whole time if I won't be there.

I don't want to turn it off completely and come home to an igloo...

Will 65 blow out cool air?

I would set it to 63-65. That way it will not be super cold, but it will not run all day either. Just do not set it to low and risk freezing pipes.
