What are your thoughts on rugs on top of carpet?

My mother was a big fan of doing that. Claimed it helped on the wearing of the rug underneath in high traffic areas. Problem was, it was just me and her. And few people actually visited. 😆

I like them. Nice and soft beneath the feet.

Given that I LOATHE carpets altogether, I have to say it's CRAZY :)

But it's really not my business what you have on your floor. If it works for you, it works, that's all that matters.

I've done that on 2 occasions. Looked good but found the top rig traveled or bunched up.

In high traffic areas, I think it's a good idea.

Maybe an area rug at most
