Brother I know it hurts no matter how bad the relationship was I believe part of it is people hate change, and that's a pretty big change. The other part is knowing you will have to start all over again. Go out and make a good single friend, male, not female! Why, because married men don't like single, or about to be single, men around their wives. Don't sit at home! stay busy with something productive. That won't take the pain away, but it lessens the time it persists.

Don't sleep in the floor , get a bed. Better yet get an attorney
TexChik · F
@Dayeshadow I know , sleep on the couch
Dayeshadow · 51-55, M

Why would you be sleeping in the basement on the floor? That's not right!
SW-User
It's not right... you shouldn't have lack of freedom in your own home...
Dayeshadow · 51-55, M
@SW-User she's been violent in the past so just trying to keep things calm until she moves out
SW-User
I see... if I were you, I'd try and stay with relatives or friends until she leaves... anyhow stay safe, I wish you well...

I know right where your at sure now I learned to keep an air mattress around for these special occasions. I know it's not the first time but keep your chin up and keep your calm and you will make it through

If she wants a divorce I would take anything that you treasure out of the house and I would not be sleeping in the basement. As for the violence...call the police the minute she threatens you or touches you.
Dayeshadow · 51-55, M
Lots of reasons but she says I am too emotionally high maintenance for her
SW-User
Why is she doing it to you
Byron8by7 · M
I can relate.
