This really moved me. I'm deeply sorry for the pain he caused you. You are a brave, good, and loving person. It takes a big heart to see someone who hurt you so much. I really don't have the words for that, that would do it justice. Though it doesn't take the pain away know what happened, I'm glad he said he was sorry. Like you, I wish it hadn't taken him so long. I'm sorry you're going through all this. I will pray for you.

That is life, a flowing river we all swim in. It has it's currents and eddies, some turbulence certainly, and some people are bashed around a lot more than others. Those memories are hard to dispel, but try to remember the good things about him as he flows screaming off the edge of planet earth to who knows where, legs and arms kicking wildly.
