Maybe she's sleeping a lot. That's common when someone's dying. She may just have no energy.
Go see her while you still can.

How many times has she done this? I'm thinking maybe she was sleeping or just too tired to talk or answer the phone. Does she live close? Are you both close, or is there friction or manipulation there? If she told you to call but didn't, it could even be a way for her to get you over there and telling you that she needs you. She may be feeling alone. I think you should go over there and check on her. If she's that ill, I would be concerned that maybe she may have fallen and hit her head or something, but I would check it out so I know exactly what is going on. She may need help but she can't ask for it, so please check on her. It would be awful to lay in the floor and not be able to get hold of anybody or call anyone. Sounds like she may need to be in a hospice. She doesn't seem to be doing too well in taking care of herself.

I don't really want closure as part of them stays with me and part of me goes with them. I see it as I just won't happen to see them any more and there many that are alive I won't see any more either.
You only get one Mother so go see her if you are anywhere close.

Go see her if you can. Yeah I know, it's not always possible. 😔

Wow, do you live in the same city? Siblings who do? I might need to forget the phone

Haul your butt over and see her in person.

She doesn't want to talk on the phone, few people do actually.
