Yeah, all the time. I go to the movies alone, libraries and book stores, walk through parks, etc... I wouldn't mind eating or traveling by myself either.
I like it. It's nice being able to do what I want without keeping tabs. I also like my own company. I've had a few people comment on it though; twice at a movie theater. They were always surprised and acted sympathetic, as if I didn't choose it. :/
@TheCaterpillar: Thanks. It was taken 2017-05-07 late in the afternoon, about an hour before sunset, on Bird Island North & South Carolina. I was standing on top of the highest dunes in SC, looking east into NC with Sunset Beach NC in the distance. The NC/SC border is just beyond the shadows--almost all of the island is in North Carolina.
@BlueClapTrap I thought I replied to you here. Sometimes I do prefer to stay in, but it depends on where I am. I think that staying at home increases my anxiety and depression. I think that aimless walks are really nice too... I can relate when you say you don't include people in your life because they are busy, and generally (in my case) they come to me later complaining that I hadn't invited them to whatever I've done by myself.

I do all of those things often except dance clubs really aren't my thing. I've always been comfortable in my own company though.
I feel this way when I go to dance clubs... lol I ask myself: "what am I doing here?" In restaurants it sucks because it's hard to save a seat, but I generally don't have problems there.

@PoisonGirrrl: I actually like traveling alone mainly because I can do everything I want my way on my own agenda and timeline :)
@TheCaterpillar: Exactly! This is what I like the most, no one bothers me. I can do whatever I want and exercise my impulsiveness, which happens very often during trips.
@Selah: I know how you feel. I feel the same way when I dine alone. I usually DGAF, but sometimes I really do feel lonely, and it seems like everyone else there has someone(s) with them.
I do go out alone. Breakfast and lunch, and movies, or shopping. I haven't been out to dinner alone though, for a long time. That just depresses me too much.
@ThePiedPiper: Yes, I also like films that no one wants to watch. I think that my best travel experiences were by myself. I am so fond of my own timing, having someone else nearby has always been problematic doing this...
