2016 was for the most part, The Year of The Fire Monkey. A lot of bad things happened during that year to a lot of people. I like Curious George but I did not like this particular monkey. I had really horrible things happen to me that I am still living with the consequences.

Not sure what "the thing" is, but if it was love, no you defo do not have a problem, imo. :-)
No-one has any business telling anyone else when they should get or be over something! And I despise the cliche "get over it/move on". It's a pet peeve of mine.
