Love is I will swallow my pride for the love of my kids any time.

Technically, pride can be described as "high opinion of yourself," so in the end I believe it's a matter of what you love more. Is it yourself, or is it others?

Sadly, the love of self tends to win in a lot of cases that I've seen.

In my experience - love is stronger, but far less common. Pride probably wins by numbers.

depends on the person and which one is more strong willed in them.

When you love someone they become a person who you put your pride in.

Which ever one we give power to will be the strongest for us.
