The only sense of belonging I have is the sense of belonging to the land. I hunt and fish and own a timber farm. I get the biggest sense of pleasure from cleaning up old dump sites taking the debree to recycling yards or the recycling bins. Replanting blight resistant native trees for wild life food and timber production, and removing the foreign invasive species too.

This gives me a sense of belonging to the land, and not the land belonging to me.
