With two veteran brothers we spend a day together.

We remember and honor all the military men and women who sacrificed so much so that we could even enjoy this weekend.

I feel that sleeping in -is- honouring the Vets

Although I'm all about ensuring veterans get the support they need from a government that tends to use them and toss them out, I'm not into the soldier worship thing. Celebration of veterans often turns into celebration of war and endorsing whatever stupid shit the government is doing.
