It's not possible for us with everyone working different hours and having sport etc.

So let's get to the important part of this conversation... what time do you expect me and I'll bring the crescent rolls?!? 😋
I don't I used to when the kids were young and have a family dinner. Now I just eat what I fancy as I live alone. I've not gone completely Veggie but I have gone off meat now.

Sounds like my childhood....Sunday was always beef roast day!

My mother did the exact same thing. Well alternate weeks where Italian so used to have some fancy pasta dish as well. Hence why I hate roasts and I hate a lot of pasta dishes

idk why people do that to themselves lol, I want to relax on a sunday

@SW-User because we've got to eat? And I've got to cook something? It takes a little longer in the oven...and prep takes a little longer than opening burger and chips from the freezer! When you work....its the one day I have time to make the effort. ...and it's nice to sit down together to eat it!

@RubySoo plenty of nice things that don't take all that time, then you can spend it with your family rather than in the kitchen sweating.
RubySoo · 56-60, F
It doesn't take any longer than a casserole or a fry up or steak....only that the meat takes longer to cook......and I don't stand in the kitchen for 2 hrs staring at the oven!
