This same thing happened at my school in 2005. The guys dressed up as women, and they had a pageant. The whole thing was for laughs.
@cherokeepatti Well, I mentioned in another post about how this story was reported, and most accused me of approving of this. It's shocking how simple-minded so many people are.

@HUNT5M4N It is not appropriate for public school, there are other ways to have laughs
@cherokeepatti I never said that I approve of it. I write one thing, people read something completely different.

Makes one wonder what goes on in the classrooms.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@AbbeyRhode The athletic department posted these photos on their Facebook page. They must have been so proud. They also had female students dressing up like Hooters employees. Hazard Kentucky has a population of about 5,000. It’s a wonder he hasn’t been tarred and feathered. There is an investigation going on but he’s not the only one complicit in it, the other school employees should have stepped in and spoke up about this. Some of them were active participants.

@cherokeepatti Exactly. If this is what they're showing people, what goes on when no one's looking?

No word on complaints from outraged parents. I'm curious what they think.

@AbbeyRhode Better be careful if you're a parent complaining about what schools are teaching your kids. The new AG thinks you're a terrorist if you exercise your 1st amendment rights.

I am so disgusted I have no words!

Too much in the schools now that I don't agree with. It's why I chose to remove my children and home school. As parents, we really need to see what is going on with our children and stop assuming all the people in "authority" are putting our children's best interest as top priority.

Evaluations for the entire place

Back in my day the student(s) would have been expelled, and the teachers fired or even in jail.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Confined the students were encouraged by the staff I’m sure of that.

@cherokeepatti I hear it's a great workout
nedkelly · 61-69, M
And they find this acceptable - wrong wrong wrong
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@nedkelly Imagine waking up from a 10-year coma and seeing all of this crap….it would be like an episode of Twilight Zone.
CantExplain · 61-69, M
@cherokeepatti I’m afraid it’s already the Twilight Zone…

That’s so gross - that’s basically organising a pedophile event
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@SW-User and if they get by with it they’ll target the younger one.

@Stereoguy You know I was thinking someone doubled down on the fluoride in their drinking water, every damn teacher knew and no one reported it and in fact someone from their athletic department thought it was sooooo funny that they posted it on Facebook. Is the whole school staff mental to think this was a good idea? I’m also old enough to remember when adults could get charged with corrupting the morals of a minor. This is the entire high school.
