Is this about you or are you trying to get story ideas?

@SomeMichGuy it’s real life. Just asking opinions on it.

@summerlove So not about you.

If she’s confused by his behaviour, he doesn’t care, a man that cares won’t leave you feeling confused and will be consistent.
He clearly doesn’t care, she should move on.

Ask him, he knows we don't .
It is possible he panicked and went with a vague reply, hoping she would leave him alone.
When that didn't work, he didn't respond.
If it bothers you, ask him to give her a clear no and have him delete her contact information.
It sounds like she is fishing for something.

Sounds to me like he doesn’t want an emotional confrontation. Most of us don’t.
If their split was years ago, why would she think he’s still available and interested? She’s delusional and he doesn’t want to set her off.

@Mamapolo2016 ^THIS^
He's trying to let the ex down gently. Sometimes gentlemen do that. Even when the romance is gone.

@ElwoodBlues I would be pleased to have a significant other who doesn’t want to feed his ex through a wood chipper. It speaks well of his character.
Sounds like he might want to see her, that’s what I read from his response of “we will see” rather than a flat out no.

Keeping you hanging on without a proper yes or no. Your better than that leave well alone. If hes considering leaving his current GF for you he will do it to you eventually. Not a gentleman imo.
Go ask him.
Younameit · F
He should block her and leave her in the past.
His response says it all. "We will see." The guy's current girlfriend should D-U-M-P!

Why ask why? The answer can be found by merely asking why people ghost
NativePortlander1970 · 51-55
From a guy's point of view that had a slightly jealous fiancee, current gf is probably watching him like a hawk, and probably aware of the ex texting him.
