a movie is okay, but there are more interactive first dates. Mini-golf, visit a park, cook a meal together, ice skating. The issue with movies is it's fairly antisocial. You sit next to the person you are trying to get to know, facing away from them and not being allowed to speak. You're probably watching people who are far better looking than you live way more interesting lives. And afterwards, you could potentially have a great conversation about it during dinner, but what is more likely to happen is "So what did you think of the movie?" "It was good. I like the part where _______" "Yeah I liked the part where __________. It was so funny" "haha. yeah" -awkward silence- The best date activities encourage interaction and excitement, not postmortem spectator commentary.
