Love the idea of tea from a flask in a gale brilliant and expecting everyone to be aware of the etiquette around queuing too x

Britain has Beaches? I did not know this. Pebble strewn shores maybe.
TheSirfurryanimalWales · 61-69, M
@Yulianna not been there this year
Yulianna · 26-30, F
@TheSirfurryanimalWales sticking with Dolly?

@KiwiBird Britain has more to offer than the gravel seediness of Brighton.
Try the beaches of Norfolk.

How many Wales fill England?
It is Scone as in stone and fresh cream and strawberry jam of course.
And you are not truly British without having a full English breakfast including Black Pudding.

ah but ... when YOU say 'scone' does it rhyme with "gone" or with "phone" ??

Just idle curiosity xx

Never apologise to being a british sterotype. I am british as well and i love our uniqueness and how the rest of the world sterotype us. Although tbh the only thing i dont do in your list is drink tea 😱. However i always ask the taxi driver have you been busy tonight lol

SW-User
@Chattermanuk and a barber no longer asks : do you want anything for the weekend.
Yulianna · 26-30, F
🤔 what, please, is "scone"?

SW-User
You have forgotten:
Avoiding the potholes in the roads
Giving or receiving from food banks.
Walking through boarded up shopping centres.
Empty pubs that close at nine.
Sitting in cocktail bars from mid-afternoon , at £9.50 a go.
Drinking in coffee shops where everyone is on the phone
And must get another ugly tattoo.
Does anyone drink tea anymore?

@SW-User I certainly drink tea

Wonderful! And frankly (with a few obvious exceptions) a list that could apply to most Swedes as well.
TeresaRudolph71 · 51-55, F
Thanks for sharing this list. This is interesting, and it made me chuckle. There are a few other things that I wonder about, regarding the British, but this probably wouldn't be the place to ask.
littlemissdani · F
@TeresaRudolph71 why not? Lol
mayday · M
@littlemissdani wish we could still chat here but we are blocked until you turn 18, me thinketh 😆
mayday · M
All of that is so hilarious (especially the last sentence) and so uniquely British! "Hail, Britannia!..." you know the rest. lol
