@MarmeeMarch I already know who did she made a post about it lol.

I think the best way to do reparations, is to figure out what it takes to eliminate the inequality gap black Americans suffer from. And it is going to take a lot of money and social change.

@AthrillatheHunt
right as always dude
Putting intellectually inferior suckers in their place
Welcome back king!
You seem to be a butt hurt person trying to make a point that simply does not apply to what I said. I recommend you read what I actually posted, not the a priori that fits your narrative.

Well you better worry about native americans first.They were systematicly exterminated had there homes and land confiscated stuck on useless shit land in reservations . Oppressed? Bettr take a lesson from the real oppressed.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Kembe what do you mean you people - tropic thunder
kodiac · 22-25, M
@SnowBlack When did i belittle anything ?Also many black children were sold to slavers by their own parents for a handful of shiny beads .
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@kodiac it was mostly weapons , not beads , that were used to purchase African slaves from other Africans
It would not be difficult to find charities which assist formerly disadvantaged groups.
Contribute to them and do your own private "reparations".
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@LamontCranston many communities and organizations are already doing that
Kembe · 36-40, M
@LamontCranston You’d think with the decades of doing this it would work but charities don’t do anything in long run when the systems in place like redlining, discriminatory housing and hiring practices.
If the 40 acres of land per slave family had been allocated according to General Sherman’s Field Order #15 back in 1865, it would’ve cost the country considerably less than it would now. But unfortunately, as often happened, the country reneged. Today, it’s been estimated that the payout would be 12-13 trillion dollars. I’m pretty sure all kinds of people would balk at that.

Personally, I think a free opportunity to attend college or trade schools for every descendant of slaves who wants or needs that would go a long way towards providing more chances to succeed. Education helped a lot of black families out of poverty. And it would address the fact that Jim Crow not only restricted where African Americans could attend school, but during slavery it was actually illegal to educate slaves at all (whites who did risked their own freedom).

It would also be considerably easier to manage and have longer lasting affects than simply cutting a cheque.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
Yeah, but how do you really feel about it?
Kembe · 36-40, M
@AthrillatheHunt it’s literally less than 4 minutes
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
