I hope not, history teaches about complacency.

All news is more effective when it IS "new", this is just how the mind works.

But know this: when Ukraine is mentioned, Americans support you, say, "Fuck Putin!", and worry about war spreading.

And remember that Putin the Evil thought taking over Ukraine might be a long weekend, at best...! Your country has been helped by the US & others, but Ukranians have shown Putin that you are steadfast!

Consider what Putin thought he would achieve:

- quick, easy victory
- another step in slicing bits of Ukraine off until "Ukraine" is the size of Vatican city.

Now consider what he HAS accomplished:

- Strengthened & revitalized NATO & its resolve against his wars.
- Unified the West against his wars.
- Gotten "neutral" powers to join NATO!
- Provided a reason to send many billions of dollars in weapons & support to your country & your people.
- Shown the world that your President is not "just some laughable actor"--he's been an amazing spokesperson for your country!
- Shown the weak stomach the Russian Army has for this war.
- Shown the world that thevRussian military cannot even solve simple logistical issues only ~8 mi (13 km) from their border!
- Shown the world that RUSSIANS don't wish to support his war!
- Found out the rats who oppose the West...no surprises, but they have made their beds.

AND
‐ Shown ALL that Ukraine is a serious adversary!

Unfortunately it's dragged on enough that it isn't pulling enough ratings, so it's "backburner news" now. Still, fuck putin.

I believe it has.
Already we hear talk of we must negotiate withPutin.
But this is through the cost of energy not because he is an evil man and should be defeated in Ukraine.

@Yeranouhi There should be no compromise...Ukraine would never accept that.
But the two parties will have to talk....probably with a third party involved.
And I think a peace keeping force will be required to keep Russia at bay.
Ukraine wants to join NATO.
They know that can't happen until the war is over.
As for Putin...I keep getting told by my Ukrainian friend that whoever follows could be worse.

Following closely.
But it is not headline news now.Except when the infrastructure attacks occur. But reported daily.
One of my friends on here is in the Ukrainian Army.
Not been heard from since the last infrastructure attacks.
Understandable but worrying.
