I Love Chicago
Beautiful...
Chicago is one of my favorite cities. I have cousins that live near it, so I get to visit once in a while, but not nearly enough. In fact, since I went on 4th of July weekend earlier this year, I hadn't been in quite some time, many years.
From The Magnificent Mile to Millennium Park to Wrigley Field to Navy Pier, Chicago is a place I'll never be bored of, no matter how many times I visit :)
This summer was the first time I've been there "alone," by that I mean unchaperoned, just me and my friends. It was kind of the first real trip I've had "alone" too, and I got to say, it felt pretty liberating. We did so much there. Went to the Art Institute (one of my favorite places), Millennium Park, browsed the stores on Michgan Ave., went to Taste of Chicago and had great food, saw fireworks on Navy Pier, and attempted to go at a "mature" comedy show, but found out the place wasn't open that night, ended up finding this great Ethiopian restaurant to eat at. It was a wonderful trip, and I hope to go back again soon! :)
