I don’t think the answer is that God takes away our free will or turns us into robots. The way Scripture describes heaven isn’t a place where God “blocks” intrusive thoughts, it’s a place where those thoughts simply don’t exist anymore because our nature is healed.
Right now, we deal with intrusive thoughts because we live in a fallen world, in fallen bodies, with fallen minds. We’re constantly battling flesh, trauma, temptation, and spiritual influence. Heaven isn’t God forcing us into obedience; it’s God restoring us to what we were meant to be before sin ever entered the picture.
As for Angels, their situation is different. They weren’t created with the same weaknesses or limitations we have. They saw God clearly, without confusion or temptation. Their rebellion wasn’t a struggle, it was a fully informed choice. Humans sin out of weakness; Angels sinned out of clarity. That’s why the consequences aren’t the same.
And I get the feeling that sometimes theology can sound like people trying to fill in gaps. But honestly, Scripture gives us enough to understand God’s character even when we don’t have every detail.
What I hold onto is this:

1 John 3:2 [NLT] says: "Dear friends, we are already God's children, but He has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He really is."
This doesn't mean that we lose our personality or our freedom. It means that our desires won't be twisted anymore, our minds won't be at war with themselves. Our hearts won't pulls us towards things that destroy us. That's not robotic in any way, but it is the kind of freedom that is in its purest form. As for Angels, their situation is different. Heaven isn't the removal of free will; it's the removal of everything that keeps us from choosing what's good, wholesome, and life-giving. So, I don't see God "enclosing" us or turning us into robots. However, I do see Him restoring us to the version of ourselves that intrusive thoughts and sinful desires could never touch.

@IsawDDevil Your free will is intact with you. You can choose your own colors, own pens, own clothes, own eateries.
For ex - You don't marry because you think your free will will collapse is lame excuse not to marry.

@DanielsASJ but how will god block intrusive thoughts without him not taking away from us. For example if I'm walking in heaven and get a intrusive thought God has to do something with this, which means we are robots, When we live through this prior life with flaws God could of saves if in heaven he was going to stopped intrusive thoguths.

@IsawDDevil That is what Love is. Suppose - Your parents have a garden and they let you protect it. Now, If you want to capture what your parents have, you are already a bad person. Sin has no place in heaven. Why would you want an intrusive person in your nation? In your home? Or in your country?
