And the same can be said of countless people who walked away from Islam. I have many friends who left Islam for Christianity. One such family was driven out if Iran after they converted. They smile now knowing that Iran has the fastest growing Christian population in the world as thousands are leaving Islam for Christianity on a daily basis.

@hippyjoe1955 Yeah, lots of religions have converts. What really matters is that everyone has freedom of religion.

@SassyMissy Agreed. I just get a hoot out of the triumphalism who scream victory over one convert when in fact the flow is the other way. Islam is teetering on the edge as its books are now being examined and found to be severely lacking. The Bible was put under textual criticism for 200 years and passed. The Quran is folding like a cheep tent under the same critique. The canon of the Quran was finally set in 1924 and then that was altered in 1989. There are 26 different Qurans and each has major disagreements with the other. Even the oldest copies don't agree with each other. The Bible may have books added to it by a church that is deleted by another but the 66 books in the protestant Bible are the same in all the churches and we have texts going back thousands of years all saying the same thing. The Quran not so much.
