Christian men don't need to get cirumcised but Christian women need to wear head coverings or else the men are supposed to cut off the women's hair by force.

@Diotrephes everything you said in your prior statement

@Charity
everything you said in your prior statement

You really should read the fairytale for yourself so that you will know what it says. If you like, I can post chapter and verse to support my statements.

Can you explain why you believe in an ancient ethnocentric Middle Eastern Jewish religious fairtytale when it plainly says that it doesn't apply to you if you are a Gentile?
Charity · 61-69
@Diotrephes

I should read it for myself 😆😆😆😆😆 as if I have not!

well what you called a middle eastern Jewish religion fairytale as written in scripture the gentiles were adopted, which makes it applying to gentiles.

And how can you say what I'm not, there are 10 lost tribes scattered throughout all nations of the world who don't know who they are.

Just say what you mean.
@Charity Yes.

Good.

Again, you are going into minutiæ with which even Pastor Murray is showing confusion.

He looks at the text of v. 3

Christ = the head of every man
the man = the head of the woman
God = the head of Christ

and uses only the first two clauses to then announce that we should cover our head with Christ, rather than using all three and saying we should cover our head with God...

But this is a pretty strained reading, because it isn't talking about head coverings. Perhaps this was "traditionally taught" in the seminary which he attended; he isn't often off in the rushes, but he DID just warn us:

@SomeMichGuy no he's not showing confusion, perception of him is what is confused.

And you don't know what head coverings is. Is Christ a hat or scarf. And you don't know what the head covering protects one against either, are we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness, principalities in high places.

I will respond to you on your next to replies and then no more on this post.
@Charity He stops at just 2 of the 3 phrases, when the ultimate conclusion is that God is the head of all.

As I said, he doesn't usually go off into the reeds like that; it's uncharacteristic of him.

Going beyond the text is never good.

The same passage tells us that Long Hair is the covering God gives woman.. There is no need for extra head coverings for woman..
With respect, so what?

What is the point of this post?

Who gives a sh!t what "ministers" think? What qualifications or experience do they have?

@Adeptlinguist

If that's what you feel /// keep right on feeling religion is an absurdity

Actually mankind himself / herself / itself is the single most harmful influence on its own humanity.

@Adeptlinguist you used absurdity / To each their own views.

Believe in a higher power has been around almost since the dawning of humanoids, whether it was what is considered mythology or paganism all cultures believed in higher Powers higher beings.

And the further we get away from that or those beliefs, which actually teach loving each other and loving nature and respecting the Earth the more destructive man has become against each other each other, other earthly life forms and the Earth herself.

By on this post, I will probably see you on another.
