Church is fellowship. That is important but not imperative!
I was not allowed to go to church across the street as a child, or give my allowance to the church. so I read my grandmas Bible and God saved me in my room by myself on my knees I cried for God. now I go to church in numerous places, and most are apostate! I travel to one that I like though.
And in Sweden 99% of pastors are women and they do not peak of Jesus as Gods son, but about the environment and being happy. we don't live to be happy, we live to grow, to please God, not ourselves..
I attend church on occasion, but I have some prayer partners, and we pray weekly on the phone because we are working all the time for the Lord in our businesses and are not in the same areas or even in the same countries. when we have been Christians and gone to church our whole lives, God calls us to work for the kingdom and help people and spread the gospel. The gospel is now spread by us working in our towns, and by internet, not in most buildings any more I believe. some churches are dangerous places for young Christians who don't know the Bible. They can be influenced by lies. we are not commanded to be part of a local church! we are told to not neglect gathering together for fellowship, very different!
Instead of church, I dedicate my life to witness in my business, and I read my Bible, and have prayer partners. I am persecuted in my family, my business, and even in church, and I feel alone but that is fine. we will be persecuted if we love God! I can handle it. One day at a time, Jesus is coming very, very soon!

"The gospel will go out into every nation and then the end" we are not commanded to be part pf a local church! God tells us we are to "Do not neglect gathering together with believers" very different!
when Paul was in prison there was no church, when missionaries go into tribal area there is no church. My Aunts were missionaries in Africa for over 50 years there was no church, they were helping and serving!

@Carazaa We're talking cross purposes now.

Revelation 14:6
Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people.
This is where we are now in history I believe (revelation 14) until Jesus comes 🙏.

Why did Christ have to die on the cross to save us? That's human sacrifice. God is all powerful, He makes the rules. He decided his son had to be tortured and crucified to save us, but why THAT? God is all loving, but consistently chooses torture, suffering and death (sometimes genocide) as a means to His end.

@BritishFailedAesthetic Fictional???????

@BritishFailedAesthetic On one hand, you say God is too complex for man to understand, then you say there is a specific way he wants to be worshipped. You can't have both.
@LeopoldBloom I don't get your question.
I worship God the way you see on our Western media, my wife worships God in the African way in her community, family, etc- dancing, singing loudily in siLozi and Nyanja.
Different styles of worship.

Interesting how you think you're entitled to define who is a Christian and who isn't.
@LeopoldBloom I'm not entitled too. I can have an idea by their proffesion and what they believe based on scripture.
But I'm not the "Salvation warden" in my high vis jacket saying who is definitely saved and who will be saved.
