Exuberant is a good word.

This is all wonderful and reassuring but it means God loves you more than others, which is the kind of fear and hate and feelings of superiority that religion is really all about. This is why the Jews have been hated for 5,000 years. It's what made it possible for Christians to annihilate the people of an entire continent. And now for Muslim terrorists to blow up buildings. Jesus has better teachings, but in my entire 66 years I've never noticed that Jesus has much to do with Christianity.

"It means God loves you more than others". That is your interpretation, sir, which in itself has no relation to the post or anything in the Bible. Infact, here is what the bible says: "for God so loved the WORLD that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever should believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life". Your constraint of God's love for me, or just a select cluster of persons, is your potrayal of a different God & definitely not the God of the Bible.
Also, it'll be well we judge a relogin not by the works of the majority of its followers but by itself - in other words, what the religion so preaches.
I believe the continent you speak of is Africa & the persons you refer to are the European crusaders.
1. We all can realise from evident evidence - if that makes sense - that Africans are not annihilated. Africa is still well populated by Africans.
2. The European crusaders who went claiming to act in authority of scripture in no way worked from the direction of the Bible but from the direction of their greedy desires, manipulating scripture & speaking from it the bits & pieces - words & broken sentences - which would justify their cause. We all have access to the Bible now & are able to read for ourselves and realise this truth; I suggest you grab yourself a copy of this wonderful book too & study for yourself.
Have a lovely day, sir. God bless. ☺
