Christ Himself quoted from the Old Testament (dead sea scrolls prove the validity )The New Testament was written by a man that killed Christians until he said the resurrected Messiah transformed him and he was eventually killed for his faith in Christ ,,the New confirms the old ,the old confirms the new
It is said Satan also quoted scripture to Christ but he quoted it incorrectly
So we are told to use the word of God ,written down by holy men as God directed them what to write to know if the person who says they speak for God is actually speaking for God ,or if satan has tricked them
How can people say they are spiritual ,,but not test the spirit they say is leading them ?
I just wondered since many say they know God
but they know nothing about His word
See they are the problem ,and satan is good at his job

That doesn’t make any sense

I went to church as a kid.I didn't really get close to Jesus til I had dreams about Him.I never really found a church that suited me.I do love Jesus though.

How so? Granted, church services and bible study are boring beyond belief.

Faith isn't a bad thing, it can help you through troubling times and give you a sense of purpose. Churches and the like turned faith into a business.
