The penitent thief understood.
"Lord, remember me when Thou comest into Thy kingdom."
"Lord, remember me when Thou comest into Thy kingdom."

Now that's very thought-provoking my sweet Thinkerbell. Isn't that really something? I love how you always bring out things that people wouldn't ordinarily think about. It would be very difficult to accept Jesus back then, I would think, unless one saw miracles because they didn't have the hindsight we do. But here's this thief on the cross, that believed Jesus was his Savior, even though he saw Jesus hanging on a cross. I mean that's just amazing. They didn't have the Bible back then and this guy's faith was phenomenal. Perhaps he had seen Jesus' miracles. I don't know, but that's the most amazing story of faith. That would really be something to write about in a future post. Whatever the reason, I know one reason was because the Holy Spirit spoke to his heart and he believed him. Even if he didn't see any miracles of Jesus, maybe he just heard by word or heard a sermon who knows but nevertheless his faith is what saved him and God's grace brought him safely to his heavenly home.
