Dear God, please give me strength when I am weak, love when I feel forsaken, courage when I am afraid, wisdom when I feel foolish, comfort when I am alone, hope when I feel rejected, and peace when I am in turmoil. In the comfort of your love, I lay before you the memories that haunt me, the anxieties that perplex me, the despair that frightens me, and my frustration at my inability to think clearly. Help me to discover your forgiveness in all things, and know your peace in my distress. Touch me, Lord, and fill me with your light and hope. Renew my spirit and give me your peace that passes all understanding. Help me to keep my focus on you alone, instead of the cares of this evil world. @Massageman Sorry but you didn't answer my point. I'm sorry but there are alot of false slick teachers I have met, they sound great but then you see their beliefs.
My wife and I were watching what looked like a Christian missionary film but there was a detail- on the elder's desk there was a statue with Jesus in a certain position- the LDS one.
I googled the film and it was indeed a mormon owned company that produced it. We immediately stopped watching the film.

@Teachocolate oh yes I could see where in that case you would be making and continuing the same prayer requests. That is a good thing. The Lord does lay on our heart what we need to pray for.
😘😘😘 We can pray for the leaders of our country and people who are homeless, sick, in pain and especially for those who have not invited Jesus into their heart and lives as Savior. We can pray for the salvation of friends and family, if they are not already saved. We can pray for the poor and hungry. We can pray for deeper understanding of the word and that we will do God's will and all ways. We can pray for our neighbors. We can pray that God's will will be done in our lives. We can pray for God's help and protection and health for ourselves and others. Those are just a few other things we can pray for.
