I know what you mean. I live healthy and look attractive, but also don't feel good. All family members are taller than me including nieces and nephews (or most likely will be). Feel like most don't see me as good at times. Attempting to develop a stronger aspect to myself to not see myself this way.
@Qtbumblebee Big hug to you, Miss Bumblebee. Unfortunately, if we take our cue from the media that includes film, TV, and glossy magazines, we live in a Donald Trump world where a woman's "Chick" factor is weighed in more heavily than her IQ.
No wonder a lot of gals are confused and a little pissed off. I realize these feelings won't buy ya a cup of coffee unless you have a buck.....but darn it....sometimes it makes me wonder, just like you are doing.
After all my ranting, all I can say is that a woman is more than her body, and certainly a darn sight worth a lot more than the paradox of self love and self hate that robs us from the essential soul that is not divided, nor corrupted by the delusions that sell air time.
go visit a nudist beach or resort and you will see people of all shapes and sizes, some with scars, some with missing parts and you should certainly become more comfortable with your body, seeing all these other people and being seen by them and no one making derogatory comments or judging you
