When did you realize you liked gaining weight?
This is a question I’m often asked so here it goes:
I put on the freshman 15-20 in college. When I came home once, my mom poked my belly and asked if I was pregnant. That should have humiliated me, but it didn’t bother me at all. That was my first sign.
My boyfriend at the time never really said anything…until I had put on closer to 30lbs. We were at a party, and I had on jeans that were a size too small and a tank top that was tight. At one point he came over and pulled on my shirt and said “babe …your belly is hanging out” and gave my belly a little juggle and that turned me on like no other.
I put on a little weight over the holidays. Once back at school, my snacking only increased. One night we were getting ready to go out and I couldn’t button my pants … my “fat jeans” to be precise. I complained to my boyfriend that i was bloated and couldn’t get them on… tried to blame Mother Nature and not the fact that I had put on close to 40lbs.
My boyfriend had me lay on the bed and said “ok suck it in.” So I did… a few seconds later he said “are you going to suck your tummy in or not?”
I told him I was and he laughed. “You need bigger jeans babe your belly is getting big”
“No I’m just bloated”
He lifted up my shirt and took me in front of the mirror and asked if I could really blame allllllll this on being bloated.
He put his hands on my belly, gently shook it and said “bloat doesn’t jiggle.”
I was shocked but a little turned on about what I saw- my once flat belly sticking straight out, round, jiggly
“I think I’m getting chubby.”
“I think you’re already there ….but I kinda like this” he started pinching at my belly fat
And from there it was history. I would eat as much as I want, my boyfriend would rub my belly, and would always say “someone’s getting big” or “holy crap babe what did you eat?”
We didn’t work out. But since then, it has been my experience that more guys love the belly than they would like to admit.
