Drugs aren't the problem; people who can't handle their drugs are the problem.
Being a player isn't the problem; people who string others along are the problem. Play the field, fuck as many people as you can, just don't get an STD.
"Too edgy" is a construct in your own mind. These all just sound like inner-rigidities that are depressing you. It sounds like you just need to work on your own self-esteem. It doesn't mean you won't dislike these things, but usually we focus hopelessly on the things we hate, when we can't find things to be hopeful and happy about within ourselves.
