That is really good. Excellent artist.
YoungDawg66 · 56-60, M
@Jemimapuddleduck Thank you … I plucking around and trying to get back into drawing and things …
So i notice youe drawing has a sword that ends off behind an object. Do you know why so many do this while drawing?

Yours looks like a mideval adultswim.
YoungDawg66 · 56-60, M
@Kitsunex Well … I just noticed that too … lol … I actually did this drawing based off a cover from a 1960 something comic book … I think I’m trying right now to kinda fill out my own style … which is kinda illustrative by nature … I grew up drawing from comic books and then as I got into making a living, my art projects got kinda put on the back burner … so I’m just getting ‘back into it’ now that I’m retired …

@Kitsunex The drawing is correct. The distances and the perspective means that the tip of the scabbard should appear behind the pike.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
excellent work, but the left hand is missing one finger
YoungDawg66 · 56-60, M
@nedkelly Thank you … I figure the forefinger and the thumb are kinda covered up by the helm
Musicman · 61-69, M

@YoungDawg66 Good for you. 🙂
Ontheroad · M
Nice... how many hours went into it?
YoungDawg66 · 56-60, M
@Ontheroad not real sure … I did the sketch and then put it down for a while as I was working on other projects … I’d guess about two hours … maybe a little more or less

Anniedlr · 26-30, F
How can it be a pencil drawing if it’s drawn by pen and ink ??
Blanchy · 31-35, F
@Anniedlr It's both pencil and ink, he used ink to outline everything in a cartoonish style.
NinaTina · 26-30, F
How do you pencil draw with ink
YoungDawg66 · 56-60, M
@NinaTina I sketch the drawing first using regular pencils … then use ink and a light box to ‘outline most of it’ … then I use pencil to go back in and shade it at the end …
