I do it because I love gymnastics , Its just been something Ive wanted since I were 14 , some people get scholarships for it , its rare although sometimes it does happen. If you compete , you have to be really commited and serious , you cant just take time off anytime you feel like it otherwise you risk getting kicked off the team , for college ones , they have to manage their time , classes and studying around it , they have to maintain an minuim gpa , if that falls too low , they might not be able to be one the year after. They train so hard , for hours. Its not something you can just go into then miss days because you dont feel like turning up or need an break , it doesnt really make people popluar but it does create discipline and really does teach you how to deal with failure and loosing.

Any sort of motivational BS is a massive motivation reducer for me. The more glitzy it is, the more I want to run.
