my little Kinsley is the absolute light of my life. she’s beautiful, smart, and full of so much love- and nothing can ever change that. 💖

unfortunately, not everyone gets it. i’ve had some hurtful words from my dad’s side of the family, people who don’t understand or appreciate the beauty of my biracial daughter. but u know what? that’s their problem, not ours. 🙅🏻‍♀
what does matter is that i’ve got an incredible, loving, and supportive family on my mama’s side. they see Kinsley for the precious, radiant soul she is. they love her. they love me. and that’s all that matters. 💕 racism will never define my child or the family we’re building. we are strong, we are resilient, and we have each other. the rest? doesn’t even register. 🖤
