Why do you call him “Lord Buddha” when he was only another, fellow human?
Ok. It is an honorific title. However, there are titles of nobility, such as the various ranks of English lords and then there are deities referred to as Lords, such as Lord Krishna, etc.

Which do you think the historical Buddha was or is?
