Swarming Preying Mantis. Night photo. Never seen or heard that Preying Mantis could swarm. They tend to eat each other when they meet.
The explanation given at a species identification site was they will swarm if there is a lot of food around.
Must have been one heck of a feast that night. There were hundreds of Preying Mantie.
I catch snakes and other creatures. Some are harmless. Others are poisonous. All the poisonous ones that I catch are released where they are most likely better off.
