A Lot Of Mine.... [I Have Childhood Memories]
Have a musical background to them....
I am [i]blessed[/i] being a child of the 70's and, being brought up in England, and the hot summers...they really were...
I remember exactly where I sat and what I was doing when I saw Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' video for the very first time....likewise, Wings with 'Mull Of Kintyre' as well....
The Queen's Silver Jubilee street party, up in Sheffield...with all the flags, bunting, cakes and sandwiches....and pop!
The following year, playing out the front and stopping these two rocker types - who reveal themselves and Joe and Steve from Def Leppard, pre fame - who compliment me on my skipping (and of knowing who Queen and Thin Lizzy were!) and me stealing a handful of chips off of Steve's tray (all before mum called me in for dinner at home)
Christmas parties with mum's friends....and of watching the 'BBC Whistle Test' New Year's Eve/New Year's Day, turn of the decade, concert of Blondie.....and wishing that I wore THAT dress that Debbie had on....
Watching 'Starsky & Hutch' on Saturday nights....reading 'The Hobbit' and 'Mathilda' for the very first time....
Ah...happy memories, one and all....
