I am having to live without a heating system at all this winter. I suspect the heating system is making me sick and I don't have time, energy, or money to replace it immediately. So I walk around the house dressed in three layers of fleece. It's ugly.

Yikes! That sucks!
Apparently everyone in my apartment is cold but it's a comfortable 66F lol
Everyone keeps messing with my thermostat I keep lowering it lol

I'm hot and they wouldn't be cold if they were walking around with socks, pants and shorts on. But nooo my boys and husband all want to walk around in boxers when they're in the house lol

I hope gas is back on and the house is nice and warm. If not wrap up in the duvet to keep warm.

Are you using propane?
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@Fungirlmmm: I never watched that show. Then it`s their job to keep up with how much you have left at a certain point in the month. Idjits!
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@Degbeme: yes it is computerized but the gentleman said it didn't register.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@Fungirlmmm: 🤦 yeah right!
aldnazmeister · 56-60, M
Sorry to hear that. It sucks when someone fails to do their job properly. Do you need me to help keep you warm? ;)
aldnazmeister · 56-60, M
I could certainly do that. :D
Oh I bet he does. lol
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
Oh and some chocolate.
aldnazmeister · 56-60, M
Done. Your wish is my command Mistress Fungirl. ;)
Brooksy · 41-45, M
I'll handle it. What's the number for gas company?
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
Lol I already took care of it.
Hot tub time!!
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@NerdyNudist: I wish I had one. I wonder if the new owners of my previous home would freak when they came home to me in their hot tub.

That sucks. We ran out once, luckily it wasn't cold. Just had cold water for a day or two
JustEd · 41-45, M
The worst is when someone turns on the water in the other room and you're not expecting that cold surge of water. I've busted my ass several times trying to get away
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@JustEd: I used to have that problem when I lived in my mom and dad's house, but I have multiple water heaters in this one so that solved it.
JustEd · 41-45, M
That's awesome. I'll have to do that if we ever build
MenzernaSF4000 · 36-40, M
Buddle up. I don't have any heating in my home. It gets bone chilling cold. House temp dips below 10 C in winters.
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
That's not too bad. That's around 50° F.... It gets down in the single digits here in the winter and in the high 90's F.... So we really need hear and AC here depending on the season. It was 33° F last night. At this moment it is 41° outside. I like it on the cooler side but my nephew and niece were freezing this morning.
MenzernaSF4000 · 36-40, M
@Fungirlmmm: here we get 9 months of summers and temp can go like 118 F. Most homes are build for summers here. Although winters do get cold here, people just tough it out. :) Mordern heaters are making way, but they are mostly electrical and lack efficiency.
Ambroseguy80 · 51-55, M
You poor dear!!!!! I know that feeling all too well my friend. Do you have a fireplace?
Ambroseguy80 · 51-55, M
@Fungirlmmm: lol. Well I hope that tank gets filled ASAP for you. :)
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@Ambroseguy80: They said they would be out COB today.
Ambroseguy80 · 51-55, M
@Fungirlmmm: that is soooo cold. But good
