Maybe they really need you to be there for them right now. And when the time comes, and you really need them, then they'll be there for you to. I know how hard it is to be "the slave" for your fam, but spending time with them and doing things for them is definitely important. Especially if you're going to college like me, or you're travelling, and you're away from them for a long time. You'll miss em.
