Is the Universe riddled with DNA and life ?

Ynotisay · M
Yeah. The universe is a big place. And life came here from somewhere else. Anything that we find in our lifetimes, which isn't guaranteed, is probably going to be microorganisms in some form of liquid. I've read about a trip in the 2030's to Saturn's moon that has a semblance of atmosphere and liquid lakes. Europa might have organisms as well. And there is a chance of finding fossils on Mars. But outside of our solar system? You'd almost have to assume there would more complex life forms.

@Ynotisay interesting view.

Life? yes.
DNA? Possible, but unlikely.

@EuphoricTurtle Why not DNA?
EuphoricTurtle · 41-45, M
@usher Just because all life we know is carbon based and replicates through DNR/rNA it does not mean it's a requirement for life to occur. The same applies to water.

Who knows, afaik we have found no DNA yet outside the Earth's biosphere.
Human1000 · M
Yes, the universe lifes itself.

@Human1000 I agree
