I Want to Be Healthy

I had a little scare yesterday. Seems I had an infected ear or 2. I knew it and i have them all the time.

The doctor prescribed cephalexin 500 mg. It caused my blood pressure to shoot up to 200/100. I could not talk, could not turn my head and my vision was coming out in waves. I was in the ER most of the day only to determine my brain and blood work was perfect. They released me with pressure of 187-84. See ya, have a nice day.

i stopped the antibiotics, they gave me this glorious pain shot and sent me home. I didn't know which way to turn. Since the problem happened after the ear infection and before the meds, I had to eliminate the meds.

It is slowly coming down-now at 149/98 but i can at least function. Another example of our fine health care system.
