I Have Paranormal Experiences

This happened on campus when I was brushing my teeth. I was in residence hall portion of the oldest building on my campus. This building was originally an orphanage owned by nuns. There are rumors that children and nuns dies on campus. Anyway, while brushing my teeth, the sink was running and I though I heard a adolescent female voice say in my left eat "Hey Matt." It was not right in my ear but I knew it was close by or in the bathroom. When I heard it, I froze in fear. I stopped brushing and turned off the sink. I asked if anybody was in the room with me; but, there was no response. I looked in the bathroom then down the hallway just outside of the bathroom and I saw nothing. No footsteps.
That was the only paranormal experience I ever had. My roommate had an interesting experience in our room when I was not there. I never experienced anything in my room though.
That was a weird experience. I thought my brain was playing tricks on me but I cannot deny that I heard a voice loud and clear say "Hey Matt."
I do believe in the paranormal but I rarely experience activity. I watch Ghost Adventures and other shows related to the paranormal. It is cool that I finally experienced something but it was very scary as well.

I've had that happen to me a few times, as well. Usually late at night or early in the morning when I'm very tired. It's like hearing something, but you know you didn't hear it with your ears. You heard it in your head. Like a thought that wasn't yours that may actually interrupt your thoughts. At least that's what I experience. Sound similar?

@Madhatter I think it sounds similar.

I experienced hearing my name and believing I knew who said it, although they were deceased. It would have been so scary if I hadn't thought I had known the person!

@wasityou That's crazy. If I had a similar situation, I wouldn't know how to react. I can be happy because it can be the voice from a spirit of a family member or friend or be scared because it is simply paranormal.

It didn't seem too crazy to me, I heard my name when only I and one family member was present. I'm happy that I didn't have enough of a reaction to cause him to suspect that anything had happened.
